We source the materials for our products carefully aiming to create a balance of sustainability, durability, and luxury. Many of our products incorporate recycled wood. In addition, each piece is handcrafted with precision and dedication to quality to ensure longevity of the accessories.

We take care to state clearly which parts of a piece are made from recycled materials. Often, for our designs it is not possible to use purely recycled wood as we watch out for a certain stability of our pieces, for customer satisfaction as well as sustainability reasons. However, we are aiming to highlights the sustainable, eco-conscious aspects of our produce but do not want to imply that entire pieces are made from recycled wood (if they are not).

As we create fairly small products, we can work with small pieces of wood. We may also buy scrap wood in case the texture, grain, and other attributes match our quality requirements and ideas for designs. This way we give new life to nature’s materials that would go to waste elsewhere; instead, we create one-of-a-kind accessories that are both stylish and responsible.

Generally, wood itself is sustainable. It grows and replenishes naturally whereas plastic is derived from non-renewable fossil fuels.
