Nice to meet you

Crazy! I can't believe I'm not wearing earrings in this picture.

...because earrings are the reason why and how it all started:

For many years, I have been wondering why no one ever creates beautiful earrings from wood that take advantage of its beauty and uniqueness. Colors, structures, grains, streaks — the options to capture stunning details seemed endless and right there. On top, the earrings would be super light weight — fantastic.

Finally, I decided that it was enough of a wait and went on to craft these fantastic, imaginary earrings myself. The first pieces and with them the label SASKA SHAW (my artist name) were created in the summer of 2024 in Berlin Friedrichshain. With a collection of earrings, other products came along.

Every day these small pieces of wood amaze me. Nature creates so much beauty in just doing its thing. I hope you enjoy the products as much as I do.
